English 10 Block 1: Homework for Wednesday
- Finish your introductory and concluding paragraphs for the following essay:
- Are 16 year-olds children, adults, or something in between?
- Make sure you use the transitions from this sheet.
- If not done, complete your third body paragraph on one of the following topics:

- be allowed to drink alcohol?
- be allowed to join the military without parental permission?
- have the right to medical privacy?
- be allowed to smoke?
- be allowed to marry without parental permission?
English 12 Block 2: Homework for Wednesday
- Finish your concluding paragraph for the following essay:
- We are influenced by our social environment.
- Make sure you use the transitions from this sheet.
- Make sure your CP is 5-8 sentences long and contains
- a restatement of the topic and thesis
- a summary of the BP's
- and a broad, even cheesy, generalization of the thesis to finish things off.
- Complete your introductory paragraph (IP). The overall prompt is as follows:
- Make sure your IP is 3-6 sentences long and contains
- an opening section that grabs the reader and discusses the general topic (which is the prompt)
- provides a thesis
- and outlines your body paragraph topics
- If not done, finish (in good copy, ironically) your cover letter. Remember, this is a bad cover letter, filled with as many colloquial and slang words as possible. Otherwise, spelling and sentence structure should be...okay.
Communications 11 Block 3: Homework for Wednesday
- 2.2 is due on Thursday (Sept. 22).
- Finish the first three marked assignments for Tuesday.
- All of 2.1 should've been finished by Thursday, Sept. 15.
