English 10 Block 1: Homework for Monday

• On Monday we will write an in-class essay on the following topic:
• Compare and contrast the novel and film versions of Fahrenheit 451.
• Complete your T-chart of similarities and difference.
• Examine the first page of a sample compare and contrast essay.
• Finally, complete an outline and bring it to class on Monday.
• The major exam on Fahrenheit 451 was written on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Did you miss it? Study the following:
• Study your Powerpoint notes, your Cornell notes and the crosswords.

English 12 Block 2: Homework for Monday

• The Chp. 9 vocab quiz will be held on Monday.
• The Chp. 9 quote notes will be due on Tuesday along with the Chps. 7-9 exam.
• Interested in reading The Great Gatsby on an e-reader or iPad? Download (by right-clicking and choosing Save Target/Link As) and save the novel in epub format. Most phones, e-readers and iPads will be able to use epub in their reading apps.

Communications 11 Block 3: Homework for Monday

• Be ready for Monday's capitalization test. Study here.
• Read to the end of Deathwatch for Friday and start your project.
