- 3. Why is Angelou’s grandmother victorious? (2)
- 4. Explain one stylistic device used in this essay. (2)
- 5. Offer two reasons to explain why this is a narrative essay. (2)
- Answer in full sentences. Ensure your answers are full and thorough. Don’t start with “Because”, “So”, “That” or “Which”. Hand in your answers on a separate piece of paper.
- If not done, complete all of the odd entries on the "gender biased language" handout: 1,3,5... 23.

- Read Act 3.1 and 3.2 of Romeo and Juliet.
- Finish Act 2 Study Guide. We'll write the Act 2/3 test next week.
- Review this section via the No Fear Romeo and Juliet website. Re-read the original Shakespearian text and then read the modern English interpretation.
- Miss the Act 1 test? Finish the Act 1 Study Guide and come see me at lunch or after school:
