  • Finish reading Chp. 8 of The Great Gatsby and complete a note set for the chapter for Friday. Use either quote notes or a mind-map.

    • Be ready for Friday's in-class essay. You can use the following items:
      • an outline of your chosen topic
      • the quote sheet
      • the UTROD vocabulary sheets (for 3 bonus words)
    • Brainstorm both topics for Friday's essay. (6 marks)
    • Using the six quotes you chose for Thursday, create six blended quotations. Use the the three methods of blending: 
    • For six marks, complete the quotation finding exercise I handed out today. Find three quotes for each of the two essay topics chosen.
