English 11 Block 1: Homework for Monday
- The rest of Under the Ribs of Death (UTROD) is due on Monday, March 2. That means you need to read to the end of Chp. 20 by next Monday.
- Also, finish the study guide for Part 3.
- Last Monday we wrote the Part 2 exam for (UTROD). If you missed the exam, you will need to write it by Thursday this week or you'll be writing the alternate version of the exam.

- You will be given a choice of three paragraph topics. You will choose two. The focus of the options will be on the second half of your novel.
- If you missed Thursday's class, review these notes on theme and symbolism.
- Complete a fully-formed fourth paragraph that answers this prompt:
- Explain a theme from your novel. Use specific examples.
- 8-14 sentences
