English 11 Block 1: Homework for Wednesday
  • We are getting closer to finishing our "confused words" grammar mini-unit. Expect a grammar test by Friday.
  • We'll start reading Act 4 tomorrow.
  • The 2nd Macbeth test was written today (Tuesday)!
    • The test covered the main events, characters, themes and passages from Acts 2 and 3.
    • Consider the following questions:
      • Why is Act 3 a turning point in the play?
      • Why is the monarchy not everything Macbeth and Lady Macbeth had hoped for?
    • Reread Acts 2 and 3 of Macbeth using No Fear Shakespeare.
    • Finish the Act 2 study guide
    • Finish the Act 3 study guide.
    • Also, listen to the play via the audio version of Macbeth.

English 12 Block 2: Homework for Wednesday
  • Finish your outline for the following Part D essay prompt: "The lessons we learn in our youth prepare us for later in life."
    • Please ensure you have a thesis, a key topic for three body paragraphs, and at least 3 three examples or points per BP.
  • Did you finish Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" essay last Friday?
