English 11 Block 1: Homework for Tuesday

• Read to the end of Chp. 7 of our new novel, October Sky. 
• Part 2 (Chps. 7-11) will be due on Tuesday, May 19.
• Today we wrote the first major novel exam, covering Chps. 1-6.
• It included multiple choice (for characters and events), matching (for the vocabulary) and a paragraph (on one of the themes).
• Finish both sides of your study guide!

• The Chp. 4 vocabulary quiz will be written tomorrow (Tuesday, May 12). Also, after reading Chp. 4 of The Great Gatsby, write a page of Cornell notes for Chp. 4 for Wednesday.
