Planning 10 Online Block 1: Homework for Friday
  • Section 2.1 should be finished by Wednesday, Nov. 18.
  • Everyone should be finished Modules 1 and 4 (and Chatter High) by Monday, Nov. 9.
English 12 Block 2: Homework for Friday
  • Read Chp. 5.
  • The Chp. 5 "question notes" and Chp. 5 vocabulary quiz are due on Monday.
  • Last week we wrote the first Gatsby exam. It covers Chapters 1-3. It has 25 multiple choice questions on plot, characters, figurative language and everything from the Powerpoints. The exam also includes a short essay.
    • Consider how the settings of the first three chapters help describe American society in the 1920's.
    • Also, how are the wealthy different from the rest of us, especially as they are portrayed in the novel?
