    • Inequality in The Great Gatsby
    • Gatsby's death
    • What is the "Lost Generation"?
  • The Chp. 9 quote notes are also due on Wednesday. Write them in first person using the MLA citation system.

English 10 Block 3: Homework for Tuesday
  • Homework: Rewrite your T-chart by placing your examples under the categories of plot, character, setting and theme.
  • If you missed either part of the movie (or all of it), watch the Fahrenheit 451 movie. Create a "T-chart" of similarities and differences between the novel and the movie; enter at least 10 entries on each side. This is an important step before we write an in-class compare and contrast essay on Wednesday.
  • Did you write the Fahrenheit 451 module exam last Tuesday?
    • Re-read your Cornell and Powerpoint notes.
    • Look for key characters, major events, symbols, and themes.
    • Now that you've read the novel, take a look through this.
