English 10 Block 1: Homework for Monday
- Study for Monday's capitalization test!
- Read 1.2 (pp. 24 - 48) of Fahrenheit 451 and complete one page of Cornell notes for Monday.
- Finish your Part 1 vocabulary definitions. The test will be held next Tuesday.
English 12 Block 2: Homework for Monday
- Read Chp. 2 of The Great Gatsby. The notes will be due Monday, as will be the 2nd vocab quiz.
- Did you finish your Cornell notes for Chapter 1 of The Great Gatsby? They were due yesterday. We also wrote vocab quiz #1 yesterday.
- Interested in reading The Great Gatsby on an e-reader or iPad? Download (by right-clicking and choosing Save Target/Link As) and save the novel in epub format. Most phones, e-readers and iPads will be able to use epub in their reading apps.
- Did you write last Wednesday's writing test?
- dangerous language; title formatting; paragraph structure; essay structure (including the introductory paragraph); transitions; stylistic devices; types of writing; quotations; essays read in class

- 3.3 was due on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
- 3.2 was due Monday Oct. 24.
