- Complete the rough copy of the found poem. We'll finish the good copy tomorrow. Bring a ruler, pencil crayons and a sharp-tipped black pen if possible.
- The Chp. 7 vocabulary quiz will be written next Monday. The Chp. 7 Quote Notes will also be due then.

- Reread your notes on the symbolism of colour.
- Reread your notes on the American Dream:
- To what extent have the major characters realized the American Dream?
- Consider the three major female characters in the novel. So far, has Fitzgerald portrayed them as sympathetic or unsympathetic characters? Do any of them have both sympathetic and unsympathetic qualities?
- Bring a highlighter and your vocabulary sheet. You will receive up to two extra bonus points on your essay (out of 40) for using two words on the list correctly within the text of your composition.
