- Books: What are the pros and cons?
- What is the "carrot and stick" metaphor?
Communications 12 Block 3: Homework for Tuesday
- Read Chp. 7 of The Chrysalids and complete the first three parts of the Part 2 Study Guide and the first page of your vocab sheet.
- Did you write Wednesday's Part 1 Chrysalids test? Make sure you finish the study guide!
- Finish at least 2 sections of the Part 2 vocabulary handout. We'll start reading Part 2 tomorrow.
English 12 Block 1: Homework for Tuesday
- Finish your notes on "I Had a Dream" and "If Hitler Asked...". Include 4 quotations for each set of notes. The quotations should exemplify the following:
- the essay's thesis
- the main points of the essay
- the point of view
- use of language (ie. style) and stylistic devices
- Will you cover everything with these quotes? Certainly not. The point is to identify a few representative quotations that help support your key points.
