• Be ready for the Part 2 vocab quiz on Thursday and the Part 2 exam on Friday.
• Did you miss last Monday's first test on The Great Gatsby? 
• Study your Powerpoint notes and the notes on Fitzgerald's life.
• Focus, in particular, on setting, the lifestyle of the wealthy, Fitzgerald's life and the contrasts of the first three chapters in the novel.

• Complete an introductory paragraph for the following essay topic:
• Should 16 year-olds be treated like children or adults (or something in-between)?
• Make sure all of your body paragraphs are finished.

English 12 Linear Block 1: Homework for Thursday

• If not done, finish your paragraph on "The Pigeon, Icarus".
• Include two or three properly blended quotations.
• Cite each quotation using the simple MLA system: "..." (line 5).
