English 11 Blocks 1/2: Homework for Wednesday
  • If not finished, choose one of the poems from the 11x17 handout and write a short paragraph that explains the theme of the poem. (A longer poem might be easier, to be honest.)
    • Make sure your paragraph has 7 to 12 sentences, a TS, a body with three different points, and a conclusion.
    • Also add a least one properly introduced and cited quotation.

English 12 Block 3: Homework for Wednesday
  • Be ready for tomorrow's in-class (only) essay!
    • Complete an outline for both topics:
      • 1. Certain events change our impressions of life.
        • and
      • 2. It is important to have a realistic view of life. 
    • We will flip a coin and write on one of these topics tomorrow.
  • We will be writing the editing exam next Wednesday (Oct. 30).
