English 11 Blocks 1/2: Homework for Tuesday
- Paragraph #2: Choose one of the poems from the imagery handout and write a short paragraph that explains the imagery of the poem. Does the imagery have something in common?
- Make sure your paragraph has 7 to 12 sentences, a TS, a body with three different points, and a conclusion.
- Also add from one to three properly introduced and cited quotation.
- Did you miss last week's punctuation exam?
English 12 Block 3: Homework for Tuesday
- Read Joan Didion's "The Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador". Tomorrow you will write a timed quiz on the essay.
- Did you finish typing up the in-class essay? It was due today!
- It is important to have a realistic view of life.
- Complete an outline for the topic as well.
- Hand in the good copy as well as the rough copy and outline on Monday, Oct. 29.
- We will be writing the editing exam next Wednesday (Oct. 30).
