English 12 Block 3: Homework for Friday
- Complete the quotation assignment: Find two quotes for each of the four essays, for a total of 8 quotes. Each quote should be introduced in your own words using one of the three blending methods I've taught you, and then cited using the MLA system [e.g. "..." (Smith 456).]
- Review these videos on blending quotations and citing quotations.
- If not done, finish your 2nd set of point form notes on either "I Have a Dream" or "If Hitler Asked...". The notes will be given a completion mark for tomorrow.

By the end of next week, we will have typed up four explanatory paragraphs (of 8 to 12 sentences). They should all follow the same format:

- Explain three events, examples and/or points in full detail.
- CS: Overall, what is the author's message? What is your view of this message?
