English 10 Blocks 1/2: Homework for Thursday
  • Be ready for Thursday's 2nd vocabulary test!
    • Review the spelling lists and vocabulary sheets from #5 to 8. The words are in older posts if you need them.
  • Re-read Romeo and Juliet up to the end of Act 1. Read the sidebars in particular.

English 12 Block 3: Homework for Thursday
  • Study for Thursday's editing exam! It's out of 70 marks (7 quizzes x 10 marks = 70 marks total).
    • Re-read the introductions to all the grammar handouts I've given you.
    • Re-read the sample editing quizzes we've completed.
    • Try these online editing quizzes:
  • Did you miss Tuesday's  essay? Remember: It's an in-class essay, and you must write it in class. No papers written at home will be accepted. It will be part of this term's mark, so see me ASAP!
  • You can use the following items for the essay:
    • Outline Sheets [You must have both outlines ready! No exceptions!]
      • We will flip a coin to see which one you write!
      • Click here for an extra outline sheet.
    • Quote Sheet [You need two quotes that are properly blended into your essay.]
    • UTROD Vocab Sheets [You'll be given up to three bonus marks if you can use three separate UTROD vocabulary words properly. You may use any version of the word.]
