- theme, symbols, characters, conflict, POV, plot and irony.
- If you didn't write Thursday's quiz, read "The Painted Door" to the end (use this online version if you want) and be ready for a multiple choice quiz. Also, study your notes on POV and characters.
English 10 Blocks 2/3: Homework for Wednesday
- Finish the "Grace Period" questions for tomorrow:
- 1. Which point of view is used in the story? Why is this an interesting way to tell a story? (2)
- 2. Explain one clue that something awful is about to happen. (2)
- 3. What is about to happen to “you” in the final paragraph? (2)
- 4. Trying to get help in an emergency can be frustrating. How does the story realistically portray this frustration? (2)
- Answer them in FULL sentences. Do not answer these questions in fragments.
- If you missed the "Belonging to the Dragon" quiz, ask Mr. Koehn for the alternate assignment ASAP.
- Review your notes on POV, plot and characters.
