 Philosophy 12

  • Monday's ethical dilemma question was:
    • A lawyer takes a solemn oath to defend the interests of his or her client. If you were the lawyer, would you release information that implicates your client, even if you might be disbarred? 
  • For Tuesday, complete one page of Cornell notes on the following topic:
    • Subjectivism and Objectivism (Juvraj B.) - p. 45
    • Naturalism, Nonnaturalism, & Emotivism (Joey R.) - p. 46
    • Motivist, Consequence and Deontological Theories (Kieren C.) - p. 47
      • Aim for about 10-12 key points on your topic.
      • We'll need these notes for Tuesday's class.
  • If not finished, finish all of the Kantian ethics questions (Sections 1-3) in full sentences.

  • Type up the entire essay regarding challenges to autonomy. Email it to me by Wednesday 5:00 pm.
    • 12-14 size font
    • 1.5 spacing
    • Create a title and place your full name at the top of the essay.
    • Feel free to adjust and upgrade your paragraphs!
    • Place the most important body paragraph last and add introductory transitions to the beginning of your BPs and CP.
    • Re-read my handout, "Essay Basics".
