- Be ready for Wednesday's test on subject-verb agreement. Review your handouts and examine the following websites
- We're starting a compare and contrast essay that compares Homer Hickam Jr's October Sky to the 1999 movie version. If you're going to be missing classes this week, try to find a copy of the Jake Gyllenhaal movie and watch it. While you're watching it, take as many notes as possible on the differences and similarities between the two versions. A T-chart titled "Similarities" and "Differences" will help.
