  English 12 Block 1:

  • Review these notes on plot and character.
  • Finish reading Chp. 5 of Under the Ribs of Death (UTROD) and be ready for Monday's Part 1 test.
    • Finish your Part 1 study guide (SG) and vocabulary.
    • The SG is worth 15 marks (10/notes + 5/vocabulary) and will be due the day of the Part 1 test (Monday, Sept. 20)

  • For next Tuesday, finish your good copy paragraph that answers the following question: What is philosophy?
    • Consider three or four aspects of philosophy that we have discussed this past week that might help define philosophy.
    • Try to explain each aspect with at least two or three sentences each. Try to include an example for each aspect.

    • Remember, put your best point last.
