- When you've finished reading and you've done the study guide, complete the online crossword for Part 3.
- Finally, consider the following questions:
- How does the Great Depression affect the characters of Under the Ribs of Death?
- What moral lessons is John Marlyn, the author, offering with his novel. In other words, what lessons about life have we learned from the book?
- What has happened to Alex in the last few pages? What do you think will happen in the next few months?
