English 12 Block 1:
- Complete the six quotations on today's quotations handout. (6 marks)
- If you didn't do your homework, read the handout on standard English. then, identify and fix the colloquialisms for #13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
- Choose one of your three rough copies and type up the letter as precisely as possible. Here's the rubric. Send it to me via Share in Office 365.
- Also, complete the third rough copy business letter from the 7 scenarios I have provided you and hand them into me.
- Use lined paper. Follow the formatting rules as best as possible.

English 9 Block 2:
- Test alert: On
Tuesday, Nov. 22Wednesday, Nov. 23, we will write the first Animal Farm test (Chps. 1-6). It will include multiple choice and a paragraph. - Review the Powerpoint notes on Animal Farm literary terms and themes.
- Finish Chapter 6 of Animal Farm and finish the study guide. The study guide is due the day of the test!

- Type up your essay in Office 365! Include a IP, 3 BPs, and a CP. You should have the essay finished by Tuesday, Nov. 8.

- Due Tuesday: Using the sheet below (click for a larger image), choose one of the 3 topics [flu remedies, consumer advocacy, and the solar minimum]. Then do a "deep dive" into the two websites listed under the topic you've chosen. Create a set of point-form notes where you identify the strengths and weaknesses of each website. Overall, which one is more credible?
