English 12 Block 1:
- Today we reviewed how to cite our sources and started our outline.
- Finish the outline on the weekend, though we'll have some time for it on Monday. I'll mark it Tuesday morning.
- We'll review the introductory paragraph on Monday and the concluding paragraph on Tuesday.
- On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we'll handwrite the rough copy of our essay. On Thursday, we'll type up the good copy.

English 9 Block 2:
- Today we studied subordinate clauses and propaganda.
- Read Chapter 10 of Animal Farm.. Complete the 2nd study guide up to and including #18.

English 11 Block 3:
- Test alert! Read Chp. 6 of October Sky. The first test (Chps. 1-6) will be
on Friday, Dec. 2on Monday, Dec. 5. - Finish the Part 1 study guide (ignore p. 2; focus on pp. 1 and 3).
- Study the part 1 vocabulary! It'll be worth 10 marks on the test.

- Due last Tuesday: Using the sheet below (click for a larger image), choose one of the 3 topics [flu remedies, consumer advocacy, and the solar minimum]. Then do a "deep dive" into the two websites listed under the topic you've chosen. Create a set of point-form notes where you identify the strengths and weaknesses of each website. Overall, which one is more credible?
