      • Read Chp. 9 of October Sky for Thursday and continue your Part 2 study guide notes. I don't want pretty notes; I want them packed! 😂
        • The Part 2 notes are due Monday, May 15, just before the test.

      • Finish reading Chp. 5 of The Great Gatsby for Thursday and start your Chp. 5 question notes. The question notes are due Friday.

    • Complete your second page of point form notes from two online sources. Note each website's URL and title. Tomorrow we'll start our poster project.
    • Finish your one page of notes on the "Proofs of God" section in the textbook. /10

      • For Tuesday, collect the best five journal entries from #8 to #15. Hand them into me as a package. 5 x5 marks = /25
      • From that package, choose your best journal entry. Type it into a good copy paragraph and send it to me via Office 365. /24
    • You'll need at least 5 journal entries from #8 to #15 for Monday. Here are the most recent: 
      • (#15) In your opinion, is the universe a system of mechanical laws that acts without thought, or is there some spiritual, moral force that provides meaning to our lives, or is there nothing? Is there a 4th option?
      • (#14) Do you believe in the “brain in the vat” scenario? What evidence/arguments are there that it might be true and that you’re controlled? Are there any evidence/arguments to support free will?
      • (#13) If you could pass the rest of your life cared for in every way as you slumbered peacefully, entranced by wonderful dreams, would you do so?
      • (#12) If you could choose the sex and physical appearance of your soon-to-be-born child, would you do it? Why or why not? Would it make a difference if we were talking about diseases like Parkinson’s?
