English 11 Block 1:

For Tuesday
• Quiz alert! We're finishing our grammar unit on parallelism. We'll write the quiz on Tuesday, June 20. Review the handouts!
• We're reading The Crucible! Read to the end of Act 2.
• Test alert! We wrote the Act 2 quiz on Monday, June 19. Review the act AND all your notes.
• Did you miss the capitalization test? The final October Sky exam? See me ASAP!

English 12 Block 2:

• For Wednesday
• We are now working on our final unit on poetry. 
• Did you finish the 3rd paragraph on "Beyond the Snowbelt"? It is due Wednesday! Include at least one properly blended and cited quotation. Aim for at least 12 sentences overall and 3-4 sentences per body point.
• If you were away, make sure you have the notes on theme, emotional impact, sound play and meaning play.
• Did you finish the 2nd paragraph on "Packing for the Future"? 
• If not done, read the poem below, complete the multiple choice, and write a rough copy of the paragraph question in "The Pigeon, Icarus". Include at least one properly blended and cited quotation.

Philosophy 12 Block 3: 

For Tuesday
• Start the personal manifesto! Complete the rough copy of at least two sections for Tuesday.
• Complete the editorial values assignment! It will bring together all the discussion on values that we've had this week.
• Did you miss the political philosophy test? If so, see me ASAP! Study your notes on the spectrum, on the 3 main ideologies, and on equality, as well as any other notes we've written in the last two weeks.
• Also, finish your 2nd page notes on your political philosopher. Complete a full set of point form notes for the 2nd half of the pages - 2.3 to 3 pages - in the textbook. I'll collect them tomorrow.

English 11 Block 4 (Day 2): 

• For Friday, June 23 (!)
• We're reading The Crucible! Read to the end of Act 3!
• Quiz alert! We'll be writing the Act 3 quiz on Friday, June 23 which is our next class! Study all your notes, including the notes on the play's literary terms.
• We wrote the parallelism quiz on Friday, June 16. Did you miss it? See me ASAP!
• Did you miss the Act 2 quiz (on Monday, June 12)? Study this character map for Act 2 and see me ASAP!
