 English 12 Blocks 1/2: Homework for Wednesday

  • Read Chp. 7 of The Great Gatsby to about p. 129.
    • Start your notes. For the final three chapters, you may use any combination of Cornell, question, and mindmap notes!
    •  As always, detailed answers with quotations and analysis earn points!

      Homework for Wednesday
      • Quiz alert! We'll be writing the political spectrum quiz on Friday, Dec. 22. The gift of learning never stops!
      • Test alert! Did you miss Monday's metaphysics test? If so, see me ASAP!
        • Study your notes on flux vs. stasis, Plato and Aristotle's forms vs. matter, free will vs. determinism, existentialism & Sartre, the religious "isms", and the religious proofs.
        • Then, complete this online crossword!
      • Journal Round-Up #2!
        • Choose the best five journal entries from #9-16 below. Hand them in for completion (5x5marks=25). They need at least 8 sentences each for a full 5 marks.
        • Then, use one of those 5 and create a good copy paragraph and send it to me via Office 365.
          • 8-16 sentences
          • 2-4 intro. transitions
          • TS/Body/CS
            • You'll need to add a proper conclusion, re-arrange the body examples into BAL, and upgrade your sentences & examples.
            • Due Monday at the the latest.


      English 11 Block 4 Linear: Homework for Thursday
      • The first rough copy paragraph (#1) is due Thursday. It must be ready to use in paper form!
