- Read up to and including 5.6 of Macbeth using No Fear Shakespeare. The Act 4/5 exam will be on Wednesday.
- Also, listen to the play via the audio version of Macbeth.

- Wednesday, April 29: Chp. 1 vocabulary words from The Great Gatsby.
- Thursday, April 30: Writing Exam
- Review your essay and writing sections in your binder for dangerous language, writing types, stylistic devices, quotations, transitions and the structure of the paragraph and essay.
- Your typed personal essay was due at the beginning of class on Monday, April 27.
- The essay responds to the following prompt: "The lessons we learn in our youth prepare us for later in life".

- standard font (Calibri, Arial, etc.)
- 1.5 spacing
- indented paragraphs; extra space between paragraphs
