- Parts of the Paragraph and Essay
- Types of Writing
- Transitions
- Quotations
- Logos vs. Pathos
- Formatting of Titles
- Review the 8 essays we read from the essay booklet.
- Did you write the in-class compare and contrast essay on Monday?
- The two choices are
- 1. Compare and contrast “Tyranny of the Clock” and “If Hitler Asked…”
- OR
- 2. Compare and contrast “Lifeboat Ethics” and “I Have A Dream”
- You will be allowed to bring in two pieces of paper:
- the two-sided outline (you cannot use your own outline)
- the quotation sheet
