- Also, finish one page of point form notes (themes/arguments/key quotes/stylistic devices) on Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have a Dream" and Philip Meyer's "If Hitler Asked You to Electrocute a Stranger Would You?"
- If not done, read Maya Angelou's "Grandmother's Victory" and write a paragraph answering the following topic: Why is Maya Angelou's "Grandmother's Victory" an example of a narrative essay?

- If you missed it, come in and write the subject-verb agreement test.
- Finish your third poetry paragraph. Explain why "Sonnet 138" is, indeed, a sonnet. Or, explain why "The Dying Stockman" is a ballad. Include two or three quotations, with at least one using the formal method and another using the blended method.
