English 12 (S2) Blocks 2/4: Homework for Wednesday
- On Wednesday we will write our first in-class personal essay. The two topics are "Certain events change our impressions of life" and "With independence comes increased responsibility". I will flip a coin to see which topic you'll write!

- For Thursday, finish your short character trait paragraphs. Choose one of the main characters in The Great Gatsby and identify five important character traits. Then, find a quotation in the novel that represents each trait.
- Create a short paragraph for each trait. Introduce the trait with a few sentences of your own, and then blend in a quote:
