• For Tuesday, complete two (similarities and differences) T-charts for the following topics. Focus on the thesis and main arguments, as well as the style of writing.
• 1st topic:
• Compare and contrast “Grandmother’s Victory” and “Riding the Hyphen”
• 2nd topic:
• Compare and contrast “I Have A Dream” and “Death and Justice".
• For Monday, identify 8 quotations (two from each essay in our two potential essay topics) that exemplify each essay's thesis and style. Blend them and cite them according to your handouts.
• Did you miss the quiz for Maya Angelou's "Grandmother's Victory"? Read the narrative essay and consider the issue of dignity. See me this week!
