English 12 Block 2:
- For Monday
- Quiz alert! On Monday you will write a comprehension quiz for Alice Munro's "Boys and Girls".
- Consider the story's plot, characters, and conflict (see the notes below). Also consider the story's theme of socialization and Munro's minimalist writing style.
- If you were away for "A Bedtime Story", answer the multiple choice questions at the end of "Thrill of the Grass". Hand them to me on Monday. #21 is a bonus question.
- For those who aren't done "The Censors", write me a fully-formed paragraph on the following topic:
- Discuss a central theme of “The Censors”. Consider Juan's change of heart by the end. What does it say about the human condition and political power?

Philosophy 12 Block 3:
- For Monday
- By Tuesday at the latest, complete a good copy paragraph that answers the following: What is philosophy? Send it to me via Share in Office 365. Also show me the hand-written rough copy ASAP!
- Test alert! On Tuesday you'll write the "What is philosophy?" unit test. The list of topics is on the left in the photo directly below:
- If not finished, complete all the remaining questions (vi. to xiv.) of the Introduction to Philosophy handout. Bring them to class!

English 11 Block 4 (Day 2):
- For Tuesday
- Finish your complex paragraph on the following topic: Of the two websites in your chosen topic, which one is more trustworthy? Send it to me via Share in Office 365. It must include your name and a title at the top of the paragraph.
- Test alert! Review your notes and crossword for the media literacy test on Tuesday.
- Complete the notes (for 10 marks) on the trustworthiness of the two sites you've chosen from the three topics in today's handout.
