- Make sure you've filled out the back of the study guide. The thematic notes will be invaluable for the paragraph.

- Make you've done at least one page of notes on your political philosopher up to the criticisms. Detail counts. /10
- Political philosophy: Make sure you get the notes on socialism, liberalism, and conservatism.
- Here are the journal entries (so far) for Round 3:
- 18. Would you be willing to commit perjury for your best friend? For example, might you testify that he was driving carefully when he hit a pedestrian, even though he had been joking around and not paying attention?
- 20. Now that we are half-way through this unit, you may be closer to self-understanding. Which political philosophy most closely resembles your own beliefs? Explain with at least three examples.

- The Great Gatsby: Read ALL of Chp. 7 and finish your notes!
- For Part 2 (Chps. 7-9), you may mix and match three types of notes: Cornell, question, and mind-map. The first set of notes for Chp. 7 (of your choice) is due Wednesday, May 29.
